In Complete Software Integration & Release department, we are committed to ensuring the integrity, stability, and robustness of the entire vehicle's software system through diligent continuous integration, verification, and release processes. The employment of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environment allows us to meticulously validate the performance and reliability of the complete vehicle across various domains (e.g., Body, ADAS, Electric Propulsion). The Complete HIL is designed for integration tests, covering functional & non-functional aspects, as well as more in-depth functional tests on system level. Team members develop both manual and automated testing approaches to enhance reliability of complete software systems across all operational domains.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a Complete HIL Test Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing to join our dynamic teams. In this role, your main responsibilities will encompass the following:
Develop test cases (manual and automated) in the Complete HIL environment for functional and non-functional testing across various vehicle domains.
Execute thorough validation and verification tests, analyze test result and communicate findings with the corresponding development teams to ensure the continuous enhancement of software release.
Maintain and improve HIL test infrastructure, employing innovative solutions to streamline testing procedures and improve system robustness.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams located in Gothenburg and Shanghai to unify testing practices and enhance testing efficiency and productivities.
What you’ll bring
A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
More than 3 years of relevant work experience with functional testing across multiple vehicle domains (e.g., ADAS, Body, Infotainment).
Proficient in Python and keyword-based test frameworks (e.g., RobotFramework).
Experienced in system software testing and fault tracing in a complete vehicle.
Basic knowledge in automotive communication protocols, such as CAN/LIN/Ethernet.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and the capability to work well in diverse and international environments.
Proactive, creative, and committed to teamwork.
Experienced with Matlab/Simulink vehicle dynamic model generation.
Experienced with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git/Gerrit.
Familiar with Vector tools such as CANoe.
Valid C1/C2 driver license.
