Within Complete Software Integration & Release department, our mission is to ensure the integrity, stability, and robustness of the entire vehicle's software system through continuous integration, verification, and release processes. The SWIFT (Software Integration and Function Test) team plays a pivotal role in this mission, focusing on real vehicle testing environment to validate the functionality and reliability of complete electrical system, particularly as we advance toward full battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The emphasis on real-world testing scenarios ensure customer function is updated and work as intended when the complete SW baseline is released.
What you’ll do
As a valued member of SWIFT team, your role as a Software Function Integration Test Engineer will mainly involve:
Update vehicle with new released complete SW baseline.
Craft and execute comprehensive test protocols for software function integration within real vehicle environments, with an emphasis on manual testing to ensure top-notch software quality.
Analyzing results and communicate with development teams to enhance SW quality in vehicles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams located in Gothenburg and Shanghai to unify testing practices and enhance testing efficiency and productivities.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a proactive individual with a solution-oriented mindset, with following key competence and qualifications:
A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
More than 3 years of significant experience in real vehicle testing, with a keen interest or background in BEV technologies.
Familiar with automotive communication protocols, such as CAN/LIN/Ethernet.
Valid C1/C2 driver license.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and the capability to work well in diverse and international environments.
Proactive, creative, and committed to teamwork.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, CAPL is a plus.
