As part of the STIHL Corporate Internal Audit function you are reporting directly to the Director Internal Audit - Operations and IT at Headquarter (Waiblingen, Germany)

Your responsibilities as the Audit Manager in the APAC Audit Hub:
Execution of Internal Audits across APAC:
• Planning and performing internal audits as audit manager or co-auditor in Greater China and the APAC Region;
• Provide objective assurance and independent review on the adequacy and effectiveness of STIHL’s processes, internal controls and guide best practices;
• Prepare and present the audit results with high quality to the senior management and executives, incl. recommendations and solutions;
• Assist the Corporate Internal Audit Team in conducting special audits or investigations;
• Conducting follow up audits to ensure proper implementation of agreed audit actions;

Other responsibilities:
• Coordinating the risk management function across the Asia Pacific subsidiaries in close cooperation with Headquarter and local risk coordinators;
• Coordination of the recurring internal controls testing cycle across the Asia Pacific subsidiaries (to be established);
• Building a local team (1-2 auditors).


Requirements

• University level with relevant professional qualifications;
• 6-8 years experience in internal audit in the manufacturing industry;
• Professional level of auditing within at least one of the following major fields of audit: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and/or Sales;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (must), Mandarin (must) and German (preferred, but not mandatory);
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including managerial courage, dealing with ambiguity;
• Socially confident with good diplomacy and organization skills;
• High level of self organization;
• Team player, with the ability to multi-task, is flexible and can work under pressure;
• Good SAP knowledge is preferred;
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIA, CFE, etc.) are preferred but not mandatory;
• Appx. 25% travel requirement (national and international).
