Role Title: District Sales Manager
Job Family: Sales
Reports to: RSM
Direct Reports: Territory Sales Manager, Sr. Sales Consultant, Sales Consultant
Main Purpose of the Role
Manage the performance of the sales function for a region in line with the Divisional strategy and operating plan in order to maximize sales and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities :

Translate divisional and national sales strategies into operational plans for the region in order to drive sales and meet and exceed targets
Implement operational plans and priorities which align with the national sales strategy
Plan, canvas and develop new business opportunities and initiate new sales concepts to maintain and expand market share
Analyze and report on sales opportunities and achievements, and use data analyses to identify further opportunities
Motivate, manage and develop a team of sales representatives to ensure achievement of pre-determined targets for the region
Build strategic relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders through regular and ongoing communication
Constantly evaluate and improve sales methods, in order to ensure maximum efficiency
Deliver sales presentations and proposals if/when required
Provide input into the annual budget for the region that supports the sales strategy and sales operating plan
Manage and attain budget objectives for the region
Work closely with Marketing Services/Media Analysts to support the sales strategies
Keep abreast of latest trends in sales effectiveness and adopt new approaches as required in order to expand client base and increase revenue

Qualifications
Industry Experience: At least 8 years of sales experience perferred in the oral/medical device field.
Sales Management Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a people manager.
Education: Bachelor's degree; dental major, clinical medicine major, with MBA degree is preferred.
