Finance Director


RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the overall financial functions including day-to-day financial management, financial reporting, cash flow management and operating procedures.
Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, ensuring that all team members are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Responsible for regional consolidation reporting and reconciliation
Review and develop effective accounting policies and internal control system to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Identify and improve workflow and processes to increase efficiency and strengthen the framework
Participate in the development of strategic plans and provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies


REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
At least 8 years of accounting and finance experience with preferably sizable companies
Strong financial and management reporting experience is a must
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal & communication skills with ability and confidence to work with all levels
Independent, attentive to details, organized, proactive and eager to learn.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong accounts receivable and cashflow management
Experience on system implementation and subsequent upgrades
Previous experience on building a team would be an advantage
