Responsibility Level:
Be responsible to improve the distribution in both of WD/TC and retail stores in top market. Design the short-term strategy of responsible are, develop detailed action plans, and lead a sell-in team meet business target, including sale volume, product mix, PD collection, new business development, etc.
Typical Duties:
• Be responsible for achieving the sales target and key business index: sales volume, product mix, growth and account receivable cage, work with RSM to build strategy, plan and tactics to complete the regional WD channel development.
• Develop qualified WD to cover market distribution in responsible sales territory, develop partnership WD to achieve sustainable success. Mainly responsible for managing, developing Master WD or core WD in sales territory and ensure the active rate of WD.
• Integrate distributors in the existing market better, maintain market stability, and achieve the volume target.
• Lead WD monthly sales meeting to work together with Retail Area Manager to design the WD monthly sell-through policy.
• Closely work with WD and understand the WD needs to support WD to have sustainable business growth with on Varta, support WD owner to manage the Distributor Sales Representative team, monitor WD stock management, market explore, service improvement etc.
• Be responsible for monitoring the financial capability of WD, managing the AR collection and provide support on solving the PD issue for the whole region.
• Implement the retail program within the area to realize the deep penetrate the improve POS coverage
• Visit and develop POS with sell through BDM to help with area sales performance increase.
• Ensure the accuracy of the sales forecasting data.
• Collect and analyze the market information
• Maintain and develop healthy relationship with key customers, help the WD to set up growth strategy, sales team management, service capability improvement etc.
• Provide the consulting regarding to product/service to fulfill the needs of customer, includes to provide product warranty to customers.
• Provide the relevant basic training (product knowledge, inventory management and sales skill etc.) to WD sales team and retail clients for constantly improving the sales capacity for both WD and the retailers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, or other appropriate discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with 5 years of aftermarket channel experience in automotive industry
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience.
• Good business, financial and legal acumen.
• Strong business planning and development capability
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Logic thinking and strong problem solving ability
• Ability to analyze data to business conclusion.
• Technical knowledge of lead-acid preferred.
Working Conditions:
• Significant travel, and non-traditional work hours.
