Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Markets ESP’s Products and Services through Solutions Selling Approach
· Communicates the unique value proposition (and differentiation within
the market) of ESP’s entire suite of services
· Incorporates knowledge of ESP’s products and services, the customer, and key competitors into the sales process and uses that knowledge to uncover customer needs and create value-based solutions
2. Builds Relationships with Customer on Multiple Levels
· Obtains high-level access and articulates value-based solutions to the executive levels at target customers
· Communicates effectively from tactical (Purchasing) and technical (Engineering) levels to the strategic and general management (Executives) levels at customers
3. Exceeds Customer Expectations
Acts as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, demonstrating ability to build long-term sustainable clients
Provides customers with ongoing technical support involving ESP Engineering resources as needed
Partners with Strategic Account Managers to develop, communicate, train, and implement service
strategies to be executed by designated Account Managers
4. Handles Customer Negotiations
Successfully performs or supports negotiation of pricing and other contact terms
In conjunction with designated Strategic Account Manager, creates, negotiates, and executes LTA’s (Long Term Agreements) with strategic customers in regards to service, delivery, and inventory levels
5. Maximizes Profitable Sales Growth

· Develops, maintains, and shares in-depth knowledge of ESP’s customers, prospects, competition, threats, opportunities, market share, alliances, key contacts, and history
7. Maintains Professional & Technical Knowledge
