Job Description

Responsibilities:

● Responsible for Statutory Audit tasks, working as a focal contact person to communicate with external auditors and Albemarle internal functions for the audit information collection and review, working closely with Local Finance Manager for the Final Audit report review and signed off.
● Responsible for Internal Audit tasks.
● Provide all related materials for the Corporate Income Tax Filing.
● Responsible for Statistic Report preparation and submission to Government.
● Responsible for Annual inspection for Business license.
● Work as Factory Focal Contact for any Finance related project or issues resolution.
● Prepare local Statutory Report as well as other management reports to the related stakeholders.
● Prepare local ledger adjustment entry and yearly Audit adjustment entry to GL team for posting.
● Work closely with local Finance team and Auditors for the local statutory accounting treatment for any new or changed business transactions as well as policy update to ensure the compliance of statutory accounting result.
● Ad-hoc assignment if required.

Key competencies:

● College or university degree in finance/accounting.
● 8-10 years of similar experience in Finance and Accounting.
● Work experience in Audit firm is a plus.
● Knowledge of China local GAAP and US GAAP is a distinct advantage.
● Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP experience is an advantage).
● Analytical mindset: use a methodical step-by-step approach to break down complex problems or processes into their constituents’ parts, identify causes and effects patterns and analyze problems to arrive at an appropriate solution.
● Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Outstanding communication skills: can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups; can settle differences with minimum noise; can win concessions without damaging relationships; can be both direct and forceful as well as diplomatic; gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations; has a good sense of timing.
● Customer Focused Attitude: meet or exceed Customer’s expectations (internal/external), establishes and maintains effective relationships with Customers and gains their trust and respect.
● Good Organizing and Time Management Skills: can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal, arranges information and files in a useful manner, concentrates his/her efforts on the more important priorities, be resourceful, has the “Can Do” attitude when deal with unexpected tasks.
● Self-development Skills: he/she is personally committed to and actively works to continuously improve him/herself; understands that different situations and levels may call for different skills and approaches.
● Work independently: a new project or new process implementation with common sense and know how to ask for support. Perform the job independently after getting further support.
● Teamwork: has the teamwork spirit, being a good team player, always willing to support others and active participant the team activities, a great support to build up the team moral.

Language Skills:

● a. Fluent in English and Chinese; Japanese and Korean language knowledge is a plus.
