Principle Objective
Maximize retail sales in assigned doors to grow market share, ranking and productivity of each POS in the China & Mid-pac region with key KPIs as follows:

* Achievement of all sell-out targets
* Manage, supervise, coach and motivate Counter Managers & Experts (motivation including GS)
* Responsible for recruiting and team management and development
* Responsible for Image and execution excellence at POS adhering to brand’s standards and guidelines
* Responsible for in-store promotions and events execution
* In charge of Retail Management Projects implementation and follow-up

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Retail Sales Development & Operations:

* Drive retail sales by store in accordance with Brand’s goals & objectives by store
* Compile & share monthly retail sales report to Travel Retail Brand GM, including feedback on new launches and competition analysis
* Gather & communicate field analysis, i.e. competition’s sell-out & marketing activities and make recommendations to TR brand GM / relevant team members
* Propose and work closely with TR Brand GM / relevant team members on stock optimization: stock level analysis, slow movers’ follow-up
* Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure monthly counter replenishments & efficient stock processing to ensure optimum inventory at each POS
* Sell Brand’s initiatives & incentive programs to store management for smooth & successful execution of Brand’s sales and marketing objectives
* Provide feedback to ensure efficient product assortment in line with customer profile and business strategy of the POS and the brand
* Propose and recommend action items to improve business and seize potential opportunities.

Management of Sales Force:

* Recruit, supervise, coach, motivate, develop & retain a dynamic frontline team and build team spirit; our division's greatest asset
* To boost & improve frontline team’s productivity by POS and by Expert and ensure their development via regular in-store coaching sessions and counter visits
* Ensure optimal and efficient manpower coverage for all POS
* Propose and work closely with Education Manager on frontline team’s development plan to increase knowledge and skills and responsible for their annual review of performance
* Initiate, propose and execute monthly relevant incentive
* Communication of Brand’s goals, monthly sales target objectives, incentive programs & other initiatives to frontline team and ensure follow up with them to optimize sell-out results
* To support Education team to ensure brand experts and generic staffs attend our training sessions
* Co-partner Education team in coaching on performance skills and conduct store visits to ensure training & coaching are optimal and to identify future training needs

Brand/Image & Merchandising Execution:

* To ensure a good brand image via customer service, Expert grooming, visual merchandising excellence at POS
* Partner VMD team to enforce BENEFIT COSMETICS’s POS visual merchandising, decoration and operating conditions and guidelines
* Ensure all stores have sufficient stock / testers to maintain BENEFIT COSMETICS’s Brand image across all POS
* Ensure the implementation & execution of new launches’ calendar to meet visual merchandising’s objectives
* Prepare and execute the opening of new counters

Promotion/Animation Management:

* Responsible to supervise and execute all in-store and promotional activities
* Propose and work closely with Area Manager /Ass. Marketing Manager on the animation calendar
* Gather and share competition activities and propose recommendations to Area Manager / Ass. Marketing Manager
* Look out for opportunities to have extra space, visuals, promotion events etc
* Ensure preparation prior to the event/ animation and compile the feedback report after each event / animation
* Ensure sufficient manpower coverage at each event/ animation

Relationship with operators:

* Build strong in-store relationships with operators’ store management and selling teams to ensure smooth retail operations
* Ensure a day-to-day follow-up with operation teams (shipments, animations)
* Ensure store teams’ awareness of new launches and key animations
* Obtain & provide regular market intelligence to Brand team

Requirements

* At least 5 – 8 years’ travel retail management experience in cosmetics or higher segments consumer goods at supervisory level
* Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, people management and leadership skill
* A team player with good retail & service coaching skills plus experience in building effective front-line teams
* Customer and sales focus
* Enjoy working in highly competitive, fast-paced environment
* Fluent English in both spoken and written
* Proficient in MS Office applications, i.e. Word/Powerpoint/Excel
