BASIC FUNCTION:
The ADTS Engineer manages current and prospective end customers, develop sales, create value and grow target products. Meet customer requirement by coordinating the introduction of new products and providing technical service to support the use of existing products.
The ADTS Engineer supports to overall China JV sales of Polyolefins in defined segments and regions, typical coverage of volume ~ 50-200 kt. The incumbent also supports development programs of all JV products in China.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Drives for results and achieves technical objectives within timelines e.g. customer approvals, commercialization of products, realization of technical value propositions.
2. To develop and nurture technical relationships with customers counterparts, to enhance understanding of user technical feedbacks and adhesion to JV product technical advantages.
3. Approvals of products at new customers with growth opportunities.
4. Introduces new products in conjunction with Customer Management / Business Manager/ Marketing Managers.
5. Ensures a consistent and effective Technical Services and Application Development at customers and make technical recommendations on potential improvements.
6. Helps in closing customer complaints of quality and application timely.
7. Exercise risk managements related to ADTS activities (e.g. technical recommendations), Goal Zero and safety. Respects all policies and procedures and proactively “lives” them.
8. Liaise with Account Managers/Regional Managers, customers, and supply sources to summarize progress and conclusions of sample request


PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Education:
1. College Degree in Chemical Engineering , Polymer Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience:
1.Over 8 years industrial experience of new business development and technical services in polymer company and working experience in polyolefin company is preferred; meanwhile with over 3 years’ experience of working in downstream Pipe or Medical or W&C or other Spec. Extrusion is highly preferred.
2.Or over 8 years working in Pipe or Medical or W&C or other Spec. Extrusion, with mainly focusing on PP/PE material and project development.
