Casting & Stamping Indus Manufacturing Engineer
Job Requirement:
Qualifications/ Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related disciplines (Master will be prefer)
•Good English communication (oral and written) skills (CET4 is Mandatory, CET6 will be good)
•Familiar with AUTO CAD, UG NX/ Catia
•Basic MS Word, Excel experience and Strong presentation skills
•Above 5 years of related PLC experience of electrical control development, strong knowledge in PLC Programming. Network Design, Electrical Design and Mechatronics knowledge
•Above 3 years’ Foundry/Casting equipment experience.
Responsibilities:
•To secure that all PLC and electrical systems follow Volvo standard. Installation and commissioning in the correct way. This to secure high availability and uptime for our plant.
•Lead to analyze the design input and communicate with relevant departments, participate in the evaluation of projects.
•Lead local project design processing progress follow-up and acceptance regarding electrical, PLC and MES system.
•Lead the new foundry/casting equipment industrialization.
•Lead the setup of PCS/VIDS, Andon/Unified, Cycle time, Alarm systems, etc.
oResponsible to provide and follow up on connection lists to IT
oCoordinate the setup of PLC network and VD communication within the PLC according to hardware standards.
•Communicate with the plant cross functional team regarding ongoing projects and support needs.
•Work with ME global project teams between Central and Local.
•Support other Manufacturing Engineers to follow up problems from like production or supplier deliveries. Take over any other temporary tasks assigned by manager when support needed.
