Title: Country Head (General Manager) - Tank Container & Chemical/ Bulk Liquid Logistics
Product/Function: Tank Container & Chemical Logistics division
Location: Shanghai / Qingdao, HOME BASE
-Role:
Manage P&L of ISO Tank /Tank Container & Chemical Logistics division, Develop Business, Pan China
Customer facing role to Develop the Business - New and Existing Customers, Pan China.
Manage the teams in all locations, coach, mentor and train.
Update, administrate, report and share information.
Responsibilities
P&L responsibility of the ISO Tank / Tank Container / Chemical / Bulk Liquid Logistics division.
Acquisition of new business from new customers and existing customers based on a value proposition and solution, including ISO Tank (One-way standard T-11 Tank agency business), as well as SOC / Special Tank (Round-trip forwarding business).
Acquisition of new business from new customers and existing customers based on a value proposition and solution, including ISO Tank / Chemical Logistics / Bulk Liquid Logistics, but not limited to:
> Special tanks transport & related services on roundtrips.
> One way standard (T11) tank agency transport
> Dry bulk logistics and transport
> Liquid gas (T75) tank transport & related services
> Compressed gas (T50) transport & related services
> Corrosive product that needs lined tanks transport & related services
> Temperature controlled tanks transport & related services
> One stop service for chemical customers, covering full range of Chemical Forwarding
services including FCL, LCL, Airfreight, road transport, customs processing, storage &
distribution, value added services.
> Deliveries to vessels, waste, and slob removal
Set strategy and targets for commercial activities in the country, aligned with group product targets.
Own the development of opportunities with local and MNC customers of any size, manage the relationship at all levels.
Own the development of tank container NVOCCs and other sources of one way tanks including tank manufacturers, leasing companies, NVOCCs of any size, manage the relationship at all levels, meet and exceed expectations of all parties.
Lead, inspire, coach, and train the team.
Execute the sales and marketing function.
Enabling the sales success, ensure sales targets & KPI are met.
Organize and maintain sales reports, forecast, and budget.
Coordinate with sales and operational teams within the company's network on commercial activities, opportunities and onboarding new business.
Manage local and collaborate with regional procurement to support opportunities with competitive cost.
Lead and organize efficiency improvements.
Implement full use of the company's systems and tools.
Support the development of business in other countries which is decided or influenced in.
Implement Key Account Management for local and global customers.
Maintain and update CRM client information details. Specifically contact information, scope of work, and visit timelines.
Map the market.
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the senior management of the company.
Remuneration: Good Remuneration as per Industry standards.

Qualifications: Any Graduate. Additional post graduate qualification in Business / Management / Shipping / Logistics would be preferred (though not necessary).
Skills
• Commercial drive and ability to engage with customers
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Empathic personality.
• Key Account management skills
• Excellent presentation skills, ability to present solutions, value added services.
• Competent in Microsoft Office
Experience
Essential:
• Total 15 to 30 years of experience majorly in Sales/Marketing/Business Development in Shipping Agency, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry dealing with Tank Containers (ISO Tanks/ Flexi Tanks ) and Bulk Liquid / Chemical Logistics.
• Minimum 10 years leadership role in chemical logistics.
• Chemical vertical customer relationships.
• Proven track record of managing teams across the country.
• Tank container experience is desirable.
Knowledge
Deep knowledge of Chemical Logistics market is required.
