Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage quality improvement plan for sites in China. Provide site oversight and leadership to ensure effective analysis, investigation, and resolution of internal and external quality notifications (customer complaints, quality failures and rejections).
2. Accountable for the quality improvement efforts at the site. Initiate and lead the discussion with customers to facilitate the resolution of customer quality. Determine final customer complaint and claim validity.
3. Manage the review, maintenance, implementation, and improvement of site quality programs and systems (Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, Allergens, ISO, etc).
4. Coordinates the site training program to ensure compliance.
5. Develops and executes the site quality and food safety related audit plan. Ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards by managing and performing detailed and interactive process and quality audits.
6. Work with the key stakeholders to ensure resolution of issues identified on the audits Perform certified vendor audits.
7. Manage and maintain the food production license for sites, responsible for the food safety related communication with China government.
8. Responsible for site quality related KPI improvement, and manage Quality department cost and efficiency.
9. Support purchasing team on the supplier audit program.
10. Participate in safety related activities, learn safety knowledge, strictly abide all safety rules and regulations.
11. Be responsible for the safety of the post and comply with the requirements of the environment and occupational health and safety management system.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor or above in Chemistry, food science or relevant science degree.
2. Preferably from Food or Food ingredient industry, beverage industry, Cosmetic industry, etc.
3. Excellent leadership skills to handle bigger team in multiple locations and other internal and external stake holders.
4. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
5. Good understanding about China regulation and food safety requirement, with license experience (prefer the person has government contact experience).
6. Fundament understanding in Analytical Chemistry (GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, etc.).
