Responsibilities:

● Arrange export bookings, coordinate shipments with external suppliers freight forwarders, to execute international export shipments.
● Ensuring that the shipments comply with export control laws and regulations for the exporting country, as well as the requirements set forth in the corporate compliance policy.
● Responding to inquiries from internal customers and logistics service providers regarding transportation issues, in consultation with regional and/or global logistics or trade compliance
● Monitor export shipments from collection to the end of the logistics order as defined by the incoterms.
● Review outbound/export shipments to ensure optimization of freight spend, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
● Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer service, order management, accounting or shipping.
● Code freight invoices accordingly in Basware so that they can be approved for freight payment
● Log and submit freight claims to global insurance provider according to process
● Monitor, review and update Sales Forces cases regarding Logistics according to regional scope
● Identify opportunities for improvement as it pertains to the job function, including, but not limited to, tools; triggers/inputs to the process; and internal processes
● Provide timely responses to internal customers so that end customers receive accurate information and maintain high levels of satisfaction with Metso service
● Support Logistics Control Tower Manager as required

Essential Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, international trading, business administration or related field preferred, or a combination of education. More than three years’ experience in logistics, experienced different functional area in logistics such as forwarding, warehouse management, transportation management, import & export, and supply chain management, etc.
● Language: Strong English skills in reading and Writing. Smooth oral English.
● Computer: Have a good command of MS Office, be familiar with SAP/ERP & TMS & Oracle system is a plus.
● Excel Analysis ability is a plus
● Minimum 3 years working experience in logistics or supply chain
