Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to lead and deliver R&D projects and maintain existing product on Market for relevant categories
Scope:
1. Leading R&D projects and product launch including but not limited to developing formula, designing specifications and manufacturing processes, qualifying of raw material and supplier. And maintain product in product life cycle.
2. Provide technical leadership to direct reports and cross functional team to find creative solutions, deep technical analysis of problems, new claims, new test methods, demos, and any other area that enables us to provide better consumer experience with our formulas
3. Managing laboratory including people and equipment.
4. Lead and manage team members. Create an engaging and creative culture where people can be at their best. Mentor and provide guidance to the direct reports in day-to-day activities & career development
5. Mentor and guide team on chemicals, test methods, demos, and proactive work that can feed into the pipeline or enhance the understanding of the portfolio and consumer needs.
Accountabilities:
1. Designing/conducting laboratory work on formulating and scale up activities e.g. industrial trial and process validation.
2. Maintaining product developing data/system including but not limited to TDS, change control, RM information etc.
3. Maintaining laboratory and equipment (including validating, calibrating and cleaning etc.)
4. Managing the documentation and records. Ensure data integrity on all the data record process.
5. Managing projects in relevant categories in terms of timing, resource, priority and risk.
6. Managing laboratory to ensure no issue for lab routine activities and ensure lab capacity.
7. Complete the other tasks within job responsibility.

Professional qualifications required:
? Bachelor’s degree or above. Graduated in Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering or related
? 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record of successful delivery of technical projects in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods company.
? Proven project management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
? Proven experience with recruitment, management, and development of people
? Proven track record in active collaboration with internal & external R&D and non-R&D functions
? Good formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions that would allow to work on different categories
