THE ROLE
As a Contract and Proposal Specialist in a creative environment, you will actively seek feedback and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment that is dynamic and ever-changing. You will be able to influence and implement strategies and execute plans while leveraging your problem-solving capability and business acumen to translate big ideas into tangible results.
Responsibilities
• Contact clients as needed to discuss timelines, questions, expectations, deliverables, etc.
• Contribute to the generation, collection, dissemination, and storage of proposal-related information, and analyzing in-bound proposal requests (such as RFQ, RFP, etc.) to help prepare responses.
• Lead, facilitate and add value to strategy meetings to Identify issues and client requirements, identify key strategy team members and internal resourcing, based on experience, establish agreement on timelines and deliverables from the strategy meeting, and follow-up to ensure adherence.
• Follow up on outstanding contract issues for resolution to meet internal and external deadlines and to minimize business and legal risk.
• Under the supervision of team lead, create client specific proposal text to accurately reflect strategy discussions, meet needs and expectations, assure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide quality client deliverable to strict deadlines.
• Participate in proposal defense meetings with clients if needed.
• Ensure information relating to proposals and processed into and maintained in relevant databases.
• Participate in the development and testing of tools, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or related field
• Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively and respectfully in a variety of different formats.
• Accountable and able to take ownership over work.
• Strong organization skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• A quick learner with the desire to continually learn and grow.
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English
