Marketing Intern
Responsibilities:
1. Marketing & Content Creation
* Serve as the primary contact for marketing, sponsorship, and event
inquiries.
* Produce and integrate quality written and visual content for media, PR,
website, and marketing campaigns while adhering to brand guidelines.
* Support the admissions team with tours and visit coordination for key
stakeholders.
* Foster relationships with marketing partners, media, and the community.2.
Media, PR & Communications
* Develop and deliver PR/Communications & Content Plan.
* Utilize a diverse range of communication tools for effective messaging.
* Build brand awareness through strategic media channels and create press
materials.3. Event Management
* Oversee a calendar of events and manage their coordination.
* Ensure branding opportunities are maximized at community events and manage
event-related publications.
* Organize key school events and liaise with external providers for
additional programming.4. Brand Management
* Oversee digital brand management and ensure compliance with brand
guidelines.
* Manage the production of the Impact Report.5. Social Media
* Enhance online presence through effective social media strategies on
platforms like 小红书, WeChat, and BiliBili.
* Monitor social forums related to BISS Puxi and create action plans for
engagement.
* Stay informed on digital marketing trends in the international school
sector.Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations,
or a related field.
* Able to commit to the duration of the internship from August 2024 to
January 2025; and work flexible hours when event coordination may require it.
* Knowledge or experiences in content creation for PR, marketing, and social
media, along with an understanding of brand consistency.
* Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social
media channels like 小红书, WeChat, and BiliBili. Basic knowledge of image and
video editing software is a plus
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English. Proficiency
in Mandarin is highly desirable for engaging with local media and the community.
* Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills to interact with
partners, media, and the school community effectively.
* Ability to collect and analyze marketing data to inform strategies and
report on performance.
* Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic
educational environment.
* Awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures, as well as the ability to
interact respectfully within an international school context.
