Main tasks & key responsibilities:
1. Ensure the operational deployment of SP strategic initiatives, following the guidelines of the Regional Sales Director in the assigned area
2. Relate to coordinate with and manage key stakeholders in order to ensure and strengthen local partnerships
3. Support the Regional Sales Director in deploying the global sales strategy facilitating growth and sales at the assigned area
4. Support the Regional Sales Director in conducting Market Research to represent Cavotec and establish new/additional products/service offerings
5. Develop a business plan covering sales and revenues for the assigned area; assist in the development of the annual marketing plan
6. Advise the Regional Sales Director on the geographical best practices in order to streamline the sales process in line with geographical trends
7. Manage the sales team (when assigned) to meet agreed targets, and promote the organisation’s presence throughout the assigned area and market
8. Identify new opportunities and promote the system selling of division’s products
9. Forecast sales for each product within the assigned area
10. Deploy the appraisal system validated by the Regional Sales Director about the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team (when assigned), set geographical area sales targets and manage individual or team (when assigned) performance to hit the goals
11. Develop the sales team (when assigned) through motivation, counselling, mentoring and product training
12. Monitor the performance of the sales team (when assigned) by establishing a system of sales reports and cyclical sales meetings
13. Identify the major existing and new potential customers and markets and act as a company ambassador
14. Identify the major top customers and ensuring their needs are being met, and that they are kept up to date with any new Cavotec products or developments through various methods including meetings and presentations
15. Negotiate business opportunities and contracts with clients
16. Monitor progress ensuring on-time delivery of larger projects
17. Maintain a thorough understanding of cost and pricing structures for assigned products and customers
18. Liaise with KAMs, in accordance with the Regional Sales Director support and coordination for any Key Account in the designated area and market
19. Support the Regional Sales Director in identifying the major consultants in the area
20. Identify and manage the Channel Sales Partners


Qualifications
1. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering desired, or equivalent experience
2. Strong experience in value selling and market knowledge. Experience in the division’s systems, products and business region will be a must
3. Experience in negotiating international sales contracts
4. Management and interpersonal skills
5. Good communicator, fluency in English (both spoken and written)
