Aptar Pharma China is looking for a scientist background manager with entrepreneurial spirit, in the area of analytical science of drug formulation, delivery and dosage forms, with good understanding to regulations related to drug development and connection with regulatory bodies and experts. He or she will lead the expansion of existing analytical lab service in Suzhou, deploy future expansion and growth roadmap based on China market needs and Aptar Pharma global service core capabilities, and represent Aptar Pharma as an expert in scientific and regulatory topics in related delivery technologies and dosage forms.


Main Responsibilities:
• Lead the expansion of analytical lab in China by providing operational, scientific, and technical leadership to the team on methods development, validation, and technology transfer from global pharma service organizations.
• Lead the team to ensure execution of service agreements and achieve targeted revenue together with sales.
• Work with Aptar Pharma global service entities, analytical and regulatory organizations to leverage global capabilities and best practice for China, match global trends with China pharmaceutical potential needs to expand and diversify local service offerings.
• Educate and support to sales & BD on identify potential client needs in formulation, analytical, clinical, and regulatory related service, articulate the value of specific service offerings and address to related technical questions from clients.
• Build in-depth understanding of worldwide and China specific regulatory trends for Aptar Pharma related dosage forms, communicate and interpret effectively to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent Aptar at scientific and regulatory roundtables, seminars, and other events. Develop connection and partnership with regulatory agencies and related laboratories and CROs.
• Monitor emerging industry trends, assess potential impacts, and recommend proper strategies to avoid negative impact and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in pharmaceutical, chemistry, analytical sciences, or relevant scientific and technological areas with at least 5 years related experience.
• OR M.Sc. in pharmaceutical, chemistry, analytical sciences, or relevant scientific and technological areas, with at least 10 years related experience.
• Analytical lab experience in drug formulation, delivery technology and dosage forms, preferably experience in dosage forms such as MDI, DPI, nasal, eye and dermal application etc., and good understanding of generic and new drug related regulations in China, Europe, and US.
• Fluent English & Chinese to communicate all job-related topics.
• Overseas education/work experience preferred.
