THE ROLE
As an Engineering Program Manager for the Passive Safety Test and Homologation Team, you will support various safety engineering and testing activities to drive development and validation of component, sub-system and vehicle level safety for future product launches. You will work cross-functionally with many groups within the Tesla Vehicle Engineering Team to develop safety targets, test plans, and resource allocation from initial design concepts to product launch to 5-star global safety ratings.
To succeed in this role, you must thoroughly understand the needs of the business and be able to organize timelines, workflows and plans that solve for Tesla’s aggressive program targets. Organization is key, as you will be working on several different projects simultaneously with many different partners within the company.
