HJ Micro is local industry aarch64 server CPU start-up in China with the mission of driving the evolution of global data center.

As a Data Center CPU Product Management Director, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:


• Understand data center and server industry and market trends, collect direct and indirect customer requirements in terms of their needs and wants on top of pain points, accumulate market intelligence, analyze competitive offerings, then form your unique insights and come out the MRD (Market Requirement Document)


• Based on the defined MRD and company strategy on business and product, propose product roadmap and specific PRD (Product Requirement Document) for next generation product with both detail product spec and feature including selling price and cost estimate for targeted customer application scenarios to ensure life time product competitiveness in target market segments.

• Get product roadmap and PRD approved by top management with proved feasibility by working with multiple teams like architect, software and supply chain.

• Help convert the PRD into ERD (Engineering Requirement Document) after having PRD approval.

• Drive the business decisions on project to start, change, or terminate through regular product forum. help prioritize problems that may arise during development, testing, or production according to business opportunities and requirements.

• Help explain all-product details and rationale to partner teams including engineering, program management, sales, marketing, and PR (Public Relation).

• Play a critical role in the business development process by driving competitive analysis, competition response strategy, product performance benchmark and coming out high level selling points.

• Help define the go-to-market strategy with the aid in creation of marketing collaterals and coordinate with other teams on the execution, evangelize HJ Micro server CPU at industry conferences.

• Help sustain/maintain existing product skus and execute the EOL (End-Of-Life) process as needed.

Qualifications:

As a successful candidate, you must possess the below required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum qualifications:

• Good data center and server industry knowledge and connections.

• Basic knowledge on server platform architecture and industry standards/protocols

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical, electronics, systems, or computer engineering, or a STEM related technical discipline, is required.

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, or Program Management.

• High level knowledge of chip development and production process

• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with an ability to be an effective program manager as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A master's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical, electronics, systems, or computer engineering, or a STEM related technical discipline, is required. Advanced degrees can be an advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of server CPU architecture and industry standards/regulations relevant to server CPU development.

• Experience with server CPU product quality, cost, and manufacturability.

• Good knowledge of server application software stack and cloud computing.

• 5+ years of experience in hardware design, development, and/or validation.

• Experienced in product positioning, branding and pricing.
