Touch Validation Test Engineer

Touch Hardware Division

Apple Touch Validation team is looking for a Validation Test Engineer who will directly be responsible for design/development of automated test stations performing validation test.

Candidate will be in charge of bring-up/troubleshooting stations and developing software on exciting next generation technologies.

Key Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional experience as a mixed-signal Validation / Product / Test Engineer.
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Proficient in hands-on development and troubleshooting of automated test stations preferred.
• Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE), FA/CA (Failure Analysis / Corrective Action).
• Analytical skills processing and visualizing volume data. Experience using tools like Tableau, JMP, SpotFire, or Matlab is preferred.
• Written, verbal communication (strong English and spoken Mandarin), and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work with a distributed software team in different regions (Git, SVN, etc), is an advantage.

Key skills:
Candidate will need advanced software skills with a strong command of C/C++, Rush, Python, or other high level OOP or functional programing languages.
Candidate will work with lead engineers and factory personnel to develop, deploy, station bringup and debug, testing solutions, including station automation, software, algorithms used to calibrate and validate certain products. Update team with daily updates.

Education:
• B.S. in Computer/Electrical Engineering.
