Are you a strong service engineer delivering new innovative solutions from Idea to the market in close cooperation with Suppliers and with high speed?

The challenge
As a service engineer you are the interface between R&D and our service organization. You will make sure our service partners have the relevant information at hand to answer consumer questions promptly and repair products effectively.

You are responsible for

• Creating training materials and training of service centres on repair instructions.
• Identify which parts to offer as spare part and manage availability of these parts
• Execute changes in spare parts during Life Cycle Management.
• Identify which parts to offer to consumer as replaceable part and manage their availability
• Create training materials for call centres to answer consumer questions
• Assist in creating supporting online materials like frequent asked questions or videos to help consumers solve common product issues
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Are a professional holding a bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant discipline, with relevant experience, minimum 3 years.
• Have experience in a multinational, large company, preferably consumer business.
• Have experience and affinity with IT systems.
• Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Have a pragmatic, precise, practical attitude with a result driven, can-do mentality
• Are a strong communicator (writing & speaking both in English), who is able to communicate with different types of stakeholders and able to explain technical concepts in layman terms

The team:
You will be part of Versuni’s Speed to market Branded OEM teams (B-OEM).
B-OEM teams are working closely together with suppliers and Business and are driving the sourcing, development, and Life cycle management of Domestic Appliances.
Existing product platforms are sourced from suppliers, where Versuni delivers and owns a product specification to which the product needs to comply. Versuni delivers a Philips industrial product design as well. This way we ensure product quality, safety, and brand compliance while leveraging supplier capabilities.
The B-OEM team will consist of Product development functions, Product Industrialization, Sourcing and Quality. The team will work in virtual way with Business and Aesthetical design.
