Responsibilities:
1. To be as the dedicated resource in Qorvo China ( including manufacturing OSAT, branches) to monitor the taxation reporting accuracy, and tax planning relative to the compliance processes for both direct and indirect taxes. Assist he corporate treasure in China entities daily cash management and liaison with China local banks.
2. Maintain a working knowledge of the China tax laws and regulations. Assist the US corporate tax department in identifying changes in tax law that would affect Qorvo China’s tax liability such as the reinvestment tax refund, tax incentives, financial incentives, tax holidays, etc. Advise on VAT, customs duties, and other tax and transfer pricing implications of proposed transaction flows.
3. Manage the implementation of tax planning opportunities and monitor the tax compliance process with local tax advisors.
4. Review the overseas/China transfer pricing, analyzing where the realized profit margins differ from the transfer pricing targets and make adjustments accordingly. Review annual transfer pricing documentation prepared by local tax advisors. Also, review the domestic intercompany pricing.
5. Assist with calculating the quarterly tax provisions and ensure all taxes provision/payment of all China entities are fully in compliance with China tax regulations, such as the income tax provision, VAT refund, individual income tax, etc.
6. Assist Logistic department to facilitate OSAT Customs operations, like bonded handbook management, transfer pricing enquiry, royalty questions etc.
7. Acts as a liaison with external tax and customs authority for monthly/quarterly reporting, year-end tax audits for Qorvo China entities
8. To implement other tasks assigned by supervisor and support other necessary project
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or Master degree in finance & taxation or experience equivalent to that.
2. 5-10 years in taxation area, minimal 2-3 in tax consulting or tax manager position. The big four tax consulting experience will be a plus.
3. CPA or CTA will be preferred.
4. Mandarin and English, good in writing and oral.
5. Microsoft office, SAP is a plus.
