POSITION PROFILE (Major duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities)
1. General and Task Management:
a. Focus on motor quality/process related activities, but not limited to motor.
b. Stay on motor suppliers’ sites to follow up motor readiness for all new product launches, including:
CoC
APQP
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: (i.e., degree, years of experience, etc.)
Degree minimum: Bachelor of Science degree
Specific concentration: Mechatronic, Electronic, Mathematics, Physics, or other Sciences.
Experience level:
3+ years of working experience related to motor quality or design or engineering or manufacturing, or a similar role.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: (i.e., certifications, etc.)
Working experience in motor industry or in motor application
Quality certifications, e.g., ASQ CQE, CQM, or equivalent
Six Sigma certification (Green or Black belt)
Experience with supplier assessment audits
PREFERRED SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
ISO9000, IAFT16949, AIAG standard, and other quality system knowledge
Good communications in Mandarin and English.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong computer skills with a firm understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to keep perspective and not overreact to situations.
Proactive rather than reactive to problems.
Willing to travel to existing and potential suppliers.

c. Drive supplier on root cause analysis and corrective actions development of motor related quality issues.
d. Support motor CoE (center of excellent) team activities
e. Perform audits on motor related suppliers.
f. Train motor suppliers on BISSELL quality process/requirements.
g. Implement BISSELL quality standards at motor suppliers, i.e., dedicated technology audit checklists for specific key motor components.
h. Develop motor suppliers’ quality capabilities in terms of process, equipment, and testing.
2. Specific requirement
a. Family with AC/PMDC and/or BLDC motor manufacturing process, quality control, testing, and regulatory.
b. Willing to spend most of the time to stay on motor suppliers’ sites.
