DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Define and design different functional system in the finish product.
2. Design the mechanical layouts of the finish products.
3. Create and maintain the product specification and hold responsible to.
4. Analysis test results and failure to drive design solution to all technical issues in time.
5. Provide design guidance to the Development Engineer in the Engineer team working with technical resource from the supplier to design and development the product.
6. Follow the best practice defined in design and CAD modeling and engineering analysis during the design and qualification of the product.
7. Work close supplier to leverage the resources required by the project to achieve the committed target of the projects.
8. Specify and select of purchased components.
9. Participate in the development of comprehensive test plans.
10. Participate in initial product conception and feasibility studies.
11. Act as technical team leader on medium size projects.
12. Work with Manager to plan activities, schedule tasks, and estimate resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 6 to 9 years in Product Development
2. Strength in engineering fundamentals
3. Analytical approach to problems
4. Electromechanical consumer product (Design Vacuum Cleaner is preferred)
5. Plastic part design and basic knowledge of manufacturing process (including injection molding / metal stamping / ultrasonic welding / painting / plating / etc.)
6. Both UL & IEC approval knowledge
7. 3D CAD (use Creo for Top down design is preferred)
8. Test development and results analysis
9. Fluent English both in written and verbal
