Employee share plan is a new compensation reward tool used by companies to attract and retain talented people. A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our share plans business! We are now looking for experienced talents to join our client service team in Beijing. A role you will love
The Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of a client service delivery team. Working with the team leaders (Sr. CSA and/or Assistant Manager) of a small team, the Manager is expected to manage client satisfaction and profitability, as well as helping Sr. Manager/AVP/VP to continuously building the overall scalabilities of CPM Asia client service delivery teams at a high level.
The Manager personally handles more challenging client conversations and more complex account management duties. The Client Service Manager manages and balances workload of his/her small CSD, allocates and assigns clients and projects, reviews operational procedures, manages recruitment and training of new staff, as well as supervises team leaders during operational decisions. Moreover, with the feedback provided by Assistant Manager, the Client Service Manger is responsible for managing the performance of his/her team members, including the delivery and facilitation of the career development plan for each individual.
Some other key accountabilities will include:
• Assist AVP/Senior Manager to manage the relationships with a large profile of listed clients (in HKEX, NASDAQ, NYSE).
• To ensure that all solutions and services are delivered to clients accurately and according to agreed timeframes.
• Assist AVP/Senior Manager to implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risk and increase efficiencies.
• To perform financial analysis of key performance indicator for the responsible business unit.
• Generate revenue by upselling services and products to existing client base.
• Manage and coordinate internal communication with various internal stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate external communication with other parties and/or partners, such as Brokers, Banks, Share Registrars and Trusts.
• Take lead to manage internal operational projects and external client projects.
• Ad hoc tasks as required by AVP/Senior Manager.
What will you bring to the role?
To be successful in this role you will have good learning and time management skills, pay attention to details and be efficient. Also, you will have exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills. You will be passionate about the development of your team by providing guidance and coaching support.
Some other key skills required for the role:
• Excellent English and Mandarin required with Cantonese an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of client facing experience in Financial Service or Banking industry. Detail-oriented, self-motivated and has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Customer focused with excellent communications skills. Strong problem-solving skills and well-developed commercial acumen.
• Demonstrate initiative, organizational and time management skills.
• Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, and adjusts plans to meet changing needs.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or closely related areas. Proficiency in MS Office.
