Objective of job
?Develop complex process technology; further develop existing complex process technology with main focus foile- and press lamination, cutout and trim technologies
Principle activities
?Adaption of development and production topics in process development foile and trim technologies (e.g. foil with TPO, PVC, (Thermoplastic Folies), foam foils, design foils carbonfibre, coated foils with the necessary glue technology (example Hotmelt), films, trim materials leather, leatherette, fabric, etc.) according to SEP guideline.
?Creation and further development of documentation (e.g. process data acquisition, mind map, validation plan, continues data recording during the development phase.
?Responsibility in process development for foil and press lamination as main focus, cutout and trim technology with main tasks (e.g. guide component design for design to process, foil and trim pattern development, feasibility studies, build prototype samples, build concept samples, process validation, support tooling development with process input, definition of process, evaluation of PI's for approval/disapproval, participation on expert level for DFMEA and PFMEA, CAE simulation of foil process, etc.). Vacuum and press lamination and partial foil lamination.
?Technical lead and coordination of cut & sew and/or foil and press lamination within projects.
?Know Ledge about winding specification for process foils is to develop in according to DRX Standards.
?Develop product and process specifications as test and validation procedures (e.g. give technical input for requirement manuals, create test and validation plans, support and guide trial runs, etc.).
?Suggest product or process changes in order to increase system performance and/or to better implement customer wishes.
?Develop process standards and equipment, in order to achieve the desired results, and interpret the results (e.g. using statistical analysis and methods, etc.).
?Make process changes, documentation of results and deviations.
?Create technical certification to use for changes in process development and equipment, in order to support new methods and processes.
?Develop project specifications, project planning and reports.
?Develop and approve drawings and specifications.
Job requirements
?Professional/graduate education (experienced professional) usually acquired through a bachelors degree or professional certification with a few (two to three) years of experience in the related field (proficient in a technical, scientific or specialized field requiring an understanding of a body of theoretical knowledge).
?Good practical working method and material feeling for foils, like TPO, PVS, Design Foils Ultra Carbon with necessary glue technology ( hotmelt coating) as main focus. Deep know ledge about foiles, grounds about planware, leather, leatherette and textile at Chinese Market, 1 – 3 years experience in lamination process desirable.
?Know Ledge about standard injection molding materials PC, ABS, PC ABS. Know Ledge about Leight weight materials ( Mucel, SMC, Natural Fibre plastic parts in combination with foil lamination desirable.
?Know Ledge Imould Grain for foil graining desirable.
?Overall Process oriented thinking, strategic thinking, organized, analytical and problem solving skills, business oriented thought and action, able to work independently and to follow instruction, global teamwork and communication, quality tools like statistic methods or DoE, FMEA.
?Computer skills (MS Office, PLM), fluent English language.
