Job responsibilities
• Coordinate the activities of the EE Architecture, Feature, system and components.
o Define the concept of the new developments
o Define the impacts in the over vehicle architecture
o Define the vehicle signal matrix
o Coordinate the specific changes with each component owner
• Developer Project Activities (BEV, Fuel Cell, Diesel, etc..)
o Feature or Function specification definition
o SW integration and test
o ECU SW/parameter implementation and release
• Coordinate documentation activities according to project milestones and deadlines, Report to project regularly
• Oversees and assists project and change management for continues improvement
• Define the development guidelines for the EE Development team to do the development of the features, system and components

Education:
• Bachelor degree or above (Master Engineering would be desirable), majored in Automotive, Electrical or equivalent engineer, advanced respective field is plus.

Objective of job:
• Application and development of the Electric/ Electronic (EE) Component related to mechatronic systems
• Definition of the local application specification for the system and components.
• Identify the local electric/ electronic components supplier for nationalization and develop specific local needs.
• Transfer the technology existing in Daimler Germany/ Turkey to China Application,
• Testing the Electric/ Electronic Component in China application
• Support the prototype assembling related to the EE components
• Support the production and aftersales related to the EE components

Experience:
• Proven track of minimum 3-5 years working experience in automotive sector or industrial sector, preferably commercial vehicles with IT or operation unit’s related experience, VCU development.
• Experience with Vehicle ECU development, preferably commercial vehicles with EE Engineer or control units related experience and vehicle EE Architecture
• Preferably with international Vehicle OEM working experience, Transfer the global existing technology to China Application.
• Working experience with local electric/ electronic components supplier for nationalization and develop specific local needs.
• Understanding of HDT business, strong R&D development background is preferred.
• Test benches, HiL, SW release management, etc.

Specific knowledge and skills:
• Deep understanding of Electronics systems and interfaces, especially in EE Architecture and EE Components
• Experience in automotive EE component and system development (Design, Testing); EE Vehicle Architecture; EE Schematic and wiring harness; Controller Are Network (CAN) Knowledge; EE Local components supplier development
• Familiar with Vehicle CAN network, Capable of CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy…
• Experience for cross-functional work including purchasing, marketing, quality and controlling
• Understanding of the Chinese truck regulation, market & customer requirements
• Willingness to work in an international and intercultural environment which includes travelling (domestic & international)
• Pro-active working attitude, methodical and structured approach, self-motivated and self-reliance
• Strong communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
• Flexibility, resilience, adaptability, Team spirit and team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Coordination skills and assertion skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English, German a plus
