Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager shall take responsibility of supervising overall supply chain operations for Epredia China market, including but not limited to supervise the operations and performance of master logistic partner, lead demand and supply planning, collaboration with upstream supply sites, etc.. Purpose of this position is to achieve maximized customer service level at expected cost, so as to support the continuous growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Operations
Manage China supply chain operations through the 3rd party Master Logistic Partner (MLP) to secure timely supply to market.
Monitor operational performance of MLP and drive for continuous improvement.
Responsible for logistic process review and improvement in order to minimize operational lead time from goods arrival to delivery.
Responsible for leading cross-functional team to support daily operational activities and problem-solving of MLP.
Demand and Supply Planning
Responsible for reviewing and submitting monthly bottom up demand forecast from sales team.
Responsible for reviewing and approving the purchase plan proposed by MLP based on agreed process and MRP tools, so as to achieve target inventory DOS level and prevent stock shortage.
Responsible for planning parameter setting of MLP, including product classification, purchasing strategy, safety stock setting, etc.
Monitor supply chain performance indicators, including on-time-delivery, inventory DOS, lead time, logistic cost, slow moving, etc., and drive for continuous improvement.
Coordinate with manufacturing supply chain on production and inventory planning.
Participate global SIOP process on key product categories to support supply planning of global manufacturing sites.
Monitor and Improvement
Lead weekly cross-functional operational review meeting of MLP.
Organize monthly revenue review with China commercial Director.
Lead / participate supply chain improvement projects
Other tasks assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Key qualifications: demand and supply planning, logistics, vendor management.
Minimum 8 years of planning / PSI (purchase, sales, inventory) / supply chain management experience in an international company
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
fluent in Chinese and English (written and verbal)
Proficient data analytical skill.
Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
Solid experience of using ERP/MRP. SAP user is preferred.
Bachelor diploma from recognized colleague is a must.
