Shanghai Lear Automotive Systems Co., Ltd., Wuxi Branch is one of the plants owned by TCS of Lear corporation.

As a member of TCS Finance team, the Sr Finance Analyst (Cost Estimator) will be responsible to support on Asia new business acquisition and growth by providing solid business plan. This person will also partner with function team closely includes sales, operation, purchasing, ER&D and plant finance team to develop the business case for all new business quotes. Based at Wuxi this full-time position will report to Director Cost Estimating Global TCS.
The Role
Key responsibilities include the following:
• Support on Asia new business acquisition and growth by providing solid business plan.
• Co-work with function team closely includes sales, operation, purchasing, ER&D and plant finance team to develop the business case for all new business quotes.
o Review the overall programs cost development and ensure it is done properly according to actual or solid estimate through input from purchasing or benchmark data.
o Work with operation team to craft the most cost-effective manufacturing strategy as per multiple factors – process options (manual v automation content), JV relationship, manufacturing footprint, volume, VI (vertical component) content, etc.
o Proactively participate in the discussion with commercial team on quoting language to make sure all the key assumptions are properly reflected in the quote letter and company is not exposed to major risks.
o Keep close communication with operation and plant finance team to understand the labor and overhead cost structure.
• Work closely with program management team for program financial and profitability improvement, preparing program financial update, ECN quote/financial, etc.
• Communicate with sales leader for pricing strategy and support getting approval of all APR/quotations.
• Support the management decision by providing strategic analysis.

Qualifications

• Auto industry background is preferred.
• 5-10 + finance analysis experience.
• Program financial focus and experience, sensitive in numbers.
• Excellent Chinese/English verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
