Project Engineering Manager
Main Responsibilities
1. Support the Project Manager to coordinate the execution of engineering work and manage the whole engineering team of one execution office on a specific project.
2. Act as the first point of contact for coordination/communication between the disciplines and the Project Manager on engineering service scope
3. Communicates project changes / project decisions / priorities / status to the whole engineering team in one of the execution offices.
4. Ensure the whole engineering team follows and executes the SNC-Lavalin‘s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures/processes / guidelines and instructions.
5. Drive compliance to the PEP, EEP and DOR (Project Execution Plan / Engineering execution plan / Division of Responsibilities) and drive execution.
6. Ensure the project quality/schedule and raises change notices for Engineering Manager consideration.
7. Organize regular inter-discipline meetings and attends disciplines meeting. Draft the action plan and follow up on the closure of the action plans.
8. Organize and manage inter-discipline communication and cross-check.
9. If necessary, supports the discipline leader to develop and lead the deliverables.
10. Coordinates and leads the production of inter-discipline deliverables (e.g. project reports, narratives, deliverable list).

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
1. At least 10 years working experience in project engineering or engineering management.
2. Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / HVAC Engineering degree or equivalent.
3. Experience working with International engineering companies and clients.
4. Experience in Pharmaceutical (Bio-Pharma/Fine Chemical project is preferred) and other industrial types of projects, such as Food & Beverage.
5. Strong technical background and wide knowledge on different disciplines in Engineering such as Process, Mechanical, HVAC, and Electrical.
6. Good communication skills in both external communications (with client) and also internal inter-discipline communication.
7. Familiar with the GMP and cGMP knowledge and general engineering practices
8. Familiar with Singapore Regulations, and also international pharmaceutical regulations.
9. To travel as needed, but not frequently.
10. Fluent English and Mandarin communication skills.
