Senior Control Systems/Instrumentation Engineer
Industry: LNG, Offshore Oil &Gas, Petrochemical
Responsibilities: ？ Supervise technical matters relating to Instrument & Control engineering works during FEED and/or EPCIC of LNG/Offshore facilities, ensure that the works are completed in compliance with the contract requirements and the reference specifications, design codes, and standards. ？ Prepare and review I&C design documents, including but not limited to, design guides, specifications, calculations, data sheets, reports, loop sheets, location plans, lists/indices. ？ Provide technical support in procurement of Instrument & Control equipment/materials when required. Perform Technical Bid Evaluation during procurement. ？ Review and ensure all instrumentations, control systems for the projects assigned will be fully functional as intended, meet project requirements, cost effective. ？ Participate and contribute to technical review sessions e.g. HAZID, ALARP, PTR, etc. as an Instrument & Control focal point. ？ Monitor and resolve all Instrument & Control engineering issues surfaced at job-sites. ？ Reviews and checks work of subordinate engineers. ？ Coordinate design efforts with team, other disciplines, owner/agents, and suppliers. ？ May participate in activities related to plant start-ups, field assignments, and factory inspections of equipment. ？ May participate in activities with construction personnel concerning constructability issues as related to operational requirements, field conditions, and sequencing/scheduling of construction activities. Qualifications and Skills: ？ Minimum of 15 years of experience in FEED, detail design engineering ？ Bachelor degree in Instrument or Control Engineering or related field ？ Conversant with ISO, IEC, NEC, NFPA, ITU， ISA and other international codes and standards applicable for Instrumentation Control System design ？ Proficient in design and selection of Field Instrument, Control Valve, Safety Valve, Metering System, Online Analysers, Fire and Gas Detectors, ICSS, PLC, distributed control systems (DCS),SCADA system, Microwave/Radio System, Fibre optic communication, Satellite and Wire &Wireless communication ？ Extensive experience in SIL classification, SIL verification and SIF design ？ Good command of written and spoken English ？ Excellent in communication and presentation skills, coordination and organizing skills
