BUSINESS SEGMENT OVERVIEW
Designers and installers of electrical systems rely on nVent for industry-proven, globally compliant fastening and facility electrical protection systems. nVent’s electrical and fastening solutions are comprised of superior engineered products for niche electrical, mechanical and concrete applications.
nVent ERICO offers components for electrical protection, rail and transit connectivity, telecom installation, and utility and industrial facility electrical installation systems. The nVent CADDY brand includes fixing, fastening and support products for electrical installation, seismic and fire protection, data communications and heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. We also offer nVent ERIFLEX low-voltage, space-saving power and grounding connections for electrical panels and nVent LENTON engineered products for concrete reinforcing steel connections.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Responsible for growing the ERICO and ERIFLEX business by managing direct and/or indirect sales resources
- Demand creation and future growth of China Electrical business focussing on OEM market for ERIFLEX including EV and ES Vertical
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and growth teams to target customers and drive new business opportunities
- Assist sales resources with closing strategic opportunities and managing important customer relationships
- Work with sales resources to develop territory & accounts plans to maximize revenue in region
- Assist in the development of large/strategic sales opportunities, and maintain high-level relationships with end users, specifiers, key accounts, OEMs’.
- Create demand for ERICO and ERIFLEX products & Solutions in Commercial, Industrial, Telecom and Utility market segment through pro-active promotion with specifiers in design institutes as well as end-users such as with OEM’s, construction companies, design companies, specifying engineers, Utility and telecommunications carriers etc.
- Recommends, establishes and manages distributors/sales agents.
- Use Salesforce as a tool to run opportunity pipelines and communicate feedback internally
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree / equivalent technical experience, preferably in electrical engineering
- At least 5+ years sales background in OEM, Electrical Panel, oil & chemical, power, wind energy, telecom, airport and other related industries.
- Good relationship with related design Institutes, consult companies, end users or panel factories.
- Experience in hunting new business opportunities, tracking engineering project’s independently.
- Experience in selling communication equipment, low-voltage distribution products, lightning protection product or SPD is preferred.
- Excellent skills in delivering effective presentations and proposals
- Ability to adapt to evolving business circumstances
