1. Provide a central point of contact and work as coordinator for quality claims at Beijing Benz Plants concerning import deliveries from Mercedes-Benz AG;
2. Conduct an expert assessment and liaise internally with different Mercedes-Benz departments (QM, MP, RD...) or with external parties (suppliers, logistics service providers…) for imported purchased parts and in-house parts supplied by Mercedes-Benz AG to Beijing Benz;
3. Inter-divisional coordination in regards of the problem solving processes in close cooperation with all involved departments (e.g. Backoffice, Logistic, QM Beijing Benz, etc.) and external suppliers for the imported components;
4. Data input of each claim issue into the Mercedes-Benz quality system (SQMS) according to the standard process. Secure that all data are valid and correct. Collect and distribute all relevant costs via SQMS in order to be able to charge the supplier;
5. Establish and maintain of communication channels to other quality management organizations at plants worldwide, especially lead plants to ensure experience exchange;
6. Methodological and process-related support along the continuous improvement activities within Parts Quality Assurance;
7. Support problem solving processes in daily business. Exchange and share own experience and contribute to improve Quality and Processes between Beijing Benz and Daimler Quality Management;
8. Daily Work with interface to QM Beijing Benz, Backoffice and MP organization as well as external suppliers in case of standards of Mercedes-Benz parts (specifications, appearance, etc.);
9. Be responsible for claim-analysis (onsite-check, unpack audit, etc.), claim placement to possible causer and closing of claims. Moreover, claim management supporter should ask for countermeasures from internal or external supplier and track for realization;
10. Coordinate containment activities at Beijing Benz Plant and clean up pipeline;
11. Verify 8D reports from suppliers;
12. Prepare the Reporting to Management Level (regular meeting, escalated issue, special cases, etc.s).
