SAGE Parts is a global company with a large market share in the supply of replacement parts, accessories and related services for aviation ground support equipment (GSE), with geographically widespread distribution networks and warehouse facilities strategically located at or near airport locations throughout the world, including United States, Europe and Asia, etc. Sage Parts China is seeking for an experienced sales professional to join our growing team at our Shanghai office, to manage and grow an assigned sales territory. This position will provide a valuable link between SAGE Parts and our customers in China and Asia Pacific region.
Job Responsbilities:
1. University Degree in Engineering or equivalent
2. Minimum 5 years working experience with background in aviation industry in China, technical sales of ground support equipment (GSE) or Automotive / Specialty vehicles or Industrial equipment or replacement parts or equivalent.
3. Must have strong sales experience in dealing with customers in China at Airports, Airlines, ground handlers and GSE related service providers, and able to develop new customers
4. Sales experience in dealing with aviation industry related customers in Taiwan market would be an advantage
5. Strong communication, customer relationship building and service skills
6. Must be able to work independently, stay focused, and be self-motivated
7. Able to travel, and to apply for entry passes for access to airports in China
8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Words and Powerpoint
9. Fluent spoken and written language skills in English and Mandarin.
10. Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Qualifications:
1. Formulate and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitable sales within assigned territory in Southern China
2. Handle China customer requests for quotes/orders
3. Work with customer service and sourcing team, to identify appropriate parts and make offer to customers
4. Work with customer service team to prepare for tender documents whenever required
5. Work with global product and engineering team to provide technical supports to customers
6. Build and maintain customer relationships from the work floor to the management level
7. Conduct business reviews and meetings with customers
8. Analyze and predict customers’ needs and plan for inventory to capture sales of target market segments
9. Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to improve company’s position within the marketplace
10. Collect market intelligence and competitor information
11. Identify opportunities for new product development
12. Follow up customer payments on time
13. Achieve sales and gross profit targets
14. Any other duties to be assigned by the manager.
