Are you a strong Product architect, delivering new innovative solutions from Idea to the market in as part of a project team and in close cooperation with Suppliers and with high speed?

The challenge
In this role, you will be owning the technical design and requirements of domestic appliances (air fryers) that are developed and produced by suppliers in close cooperation with your project team.
You will work together with a local project team, Versuni Design, Product experts and suppliers in diverse international teams.

You are responsible for
- Responsible for good technical specifications definition between Business, Design and supplier.
- Contributing to run Product creation and LCM projects, owning the technical design in the team.
- Managing the completion of the Technical Product Documentation
- Advises management on choices with respect to technological options (often prepared by technical experts).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- You have a Master or PhD degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design or reached this in another way.
- You have several years of experience in Product development and Architecture.
- You are now a Product Developer, a Product System Architect or a Technical Project Leader of product development projects with a proven track record within your own field of expertise.

Next to your technical background you also are/have
- experience in cooperation in a multisided development environment and suppliers.
- a helicopter view and a combination of an analytical, creative and a pragmatic approach.
- familiarity with Design for Six Sigma.

The team
You will be part of Versuni’s Speed to market Branded OEM teams (B-OEM).
B-OEM teams are working closely together with suppliers and Business and are driving the sourcing, development, and Life cycle management of Domestic Appliances.
Existing product platforms are sourced from suppliers, where Versuni delivers and owns a product specification to which the product needs to comply. Versuni delivers a Philips industrial product design as well. This way we ensure product quality, safety, and brand compliance while leveraging supplier capabilities.
The B-OEM team will consist of Product development functions, Product Industrialization, Sourcing and Quality. The team will work in virtual way with Business and Aesthetical design.
