Job Purpose:
In view of the growing China business and diversified business nature (extent
from wholesale business to investment, manufacturing, VC (e.g. entertainment,
retail, restaurant, even hosting)) different entities are in different cash
position and higher agility requirements for cash management are raised for
treasury team to swift position adjustment to make sure sound operation of
China ME entities.
Key Responsibilities and Job Objectives:
1. AP Team Supervise and Lead:
* Manage and prioritize the workflow within the Accounts Payable team to
ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the department's
productivity and efficiency
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Accounts
Payable team, mentor team members, providing guidance on complex issues and
supporting professional development
* Encourage and promote a culture of continuous improvement, empowering team
members to identify and implement process enhancements
* Proactively address challenges and seek innovative solutions to improve
overall efficiency and effectiveness
* Generate regular reports on accounts payable activities, providing insights
to senior management
* Develop and implement training programs for Accounts Payable staff to
enhance their skills and knowledge, provide ongoing feedback and coaching to
support individual and team growth
* Identify opportunities for professional development and training to ensure
the team is well-equipped to meet evolving business needs
2. Business Processes and Cross-units Collaboration
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate best
practices and technology solutions that optimize the accounts payable function
* Facilitate resolution of conflicts, collaborating with internal
stakeholders and vendors to ensure a positive and productive working
relationship
* Work with team leader in policy making and execution, and process
optimization
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree or above in Finance / Accounting with Accounting
certificate holder
* 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience, at least 3 years in a
supervisory or managerial role
* Prior experience in managing the accounting and finance project management
preferred
* Experience with accounting system (JDE, SAP, Oracle) preferred
* Good knowledge of accounting principles and processes
* Proficiency in Chinese, Cantonese (Plus) and English
* Detail-oriented, sensitive to numbers, strong critical and logical thinking
skills with problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
