Principal responsibilities
- Requirements gathering, documentation, designing and implementing business solutions to meet business requirements on SAP (ECC & Hana S/4, MM/SD) and peripheral applications.
- Work with the business users and the technical development team to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in all phases of IT application project life cycle, i.e. user requirements definition; risk assessment; systems analysis and design activities; application configuration and testing; training and documentation; software package selection and implementation.
- Troubleshooting, resolution of incidents, defects timely.
- User setup/permission, data inquiries and other ad-hoc requests for ERP and other misc. applications.
- Proactively advise on process optimization with the best practice in the industry


Required key skills (professional/technical)
- Solid skill and knowledge in one or more of following systems /development platforms
- ERP (SAP ECC & HANA S4) MM/SD (expert level, can configure system independently)
- Familiar with SAP user setup (role, securities)
- Knowledge & Practice in ABAP is a plus
- Basic skill in MS SQL and Oracle Database, able to make SQL to retrieve data
- BI reporting system (SAP BW, Tableau)
- Draw complicated workflow with Visio or other diagramming tools in the format of BPMN, EPC or cross function flowchart
- Some knowledge and practices in Web/mobile application development, coding is not required.
- Willing to work in a fast pace, dynamic and high-pressure working environment while providing timely, effective and accurate deliverables


Required qualifications/experiences
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Information Technology or Business Systems related discipline.
- Above 10 years working experience as business analyst in a large scale MNC environment or prestige consulting firm.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in analysis/design/test /implementation and administration of a largescale business system.
- Strong business knowledge in Finance, Accounting, and knowledge in procurement/Inventory mgmt./sales/ customer services would be a plus
- Proven ability to operate independently as well as within a team environment. Must be able to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels. Skilled in interpreting customer requirements and proactively turning them into solutions.
- Strong communications skills both orally and written. Ability to write reports, procedure manuals and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
