Tesla-China

This role is to support tax compliance activities and assist in tax operation and advisory work of Tesla China.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Tax Compliance

·        Responsible for tax compliance on a regular basis for assigned entities, including but not limited to monthly Value-added Tax (“VAT”) filings, quarterly Corporate Income Tax (“CIT”) and Stamp Duty filings, as well as annual CIT filings.

·        Prepare forms and documents required by tax bureaus in terms of tax compliance work.

·        Maintain good relationship with tax bureaus and communicate with tax bureaus to confirm tax treatments for tax issues.

·        Deal with tax assessment and tax audit raised by tax bureaus.

Tax Operation and Advisory

•      Support business development, including but not limited to tax registration for new entities, daily Fapiao management, such as increasing VAT fapiao limitation or quantity, contract review and replying to tax-related queries raised by colleagues in other departments.

•      Apply for preferential tax policy with tax bureaus and assist in tax planning projects, if any;

•      Assist in tax automation projects.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

·        Education in Tax, Finance or Accounting is preferred.

·        Fluently writing and speaking in English.

·        2-4 year’s tax working experience in reputable MNCs/Big 4 firm/tax firm.

·        Ability to work independently under pressure.

·        Ability to anticipate and manage changes.

·        Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
