职责描述:
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Leadership:
Lead Concept team:
◆ Develop concept/ideation, lead test and value engineering.
◆ Build standard, lead to cascade across the studio.
◆ Work closely with C&F team to create, build, test and value engineering to drive system application, and scale to market.
◆ Lead new store concept development and evolution, including but not limited to residential and pet friendly stores.
◆ Initiate new store concept and furniture, bar/engine concept and create new standard with constant evolutions and transformation on a quarterly/bi-quarterly basis.
◆ Lead concept implementation, cascade new standard and concepts.
◆ Manage industrial design on key brewing equipment, both to elevate functionality and/or drive significant cost saving.

Lead Flagship Team:
◆ Leverage flagship/HPP as an innovation lab to transform total store experience (including but also beyond store concept/engine/materiality/function/menu board etc).
◆ Work closely with C&F and field operation leaders to decide on investment level of each project and adapt reasonable cost optimization to deliver these flagships
◆ Define the next generation Starbucks ‘experience through integrating design, ops, categories and programs

Planning and Execution:
◆ Lead team to convert proven new design ideas into new standard through value engineering and iterations
◆ Develop strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results:
◆ Consult with cross-functional teams on cost-saving opportunities and implements appropriate changes.
◆ Develop annual operating plan and budget, and quarterly forecast updates.
◆ Prepare, communicate and educate client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization
◆ Track interior & architectural design changes and modifications for impact on the store development budget.

Business Requirements
◆ Direct department team of architectural project managers and job captains in collaborating with a cross-functional development team and external service providers on the design process for retail store development.
◆ Provide functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:
◆ Direct development of project plans and schedules and ensures accurate and timely production of construction documents to support store development plans of the business unit.
◆ Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensures contract compliance and manages ongoing relationship.

Partner Development & Team Building
◆ Coach and develop Studio and Studio X team on drive consistent applications of proven success.
◆ Develop the next generation design leaders through coaching and enrolling hi-potential design talent.
任职要求:
Summary of Experience

◆ Leading a team of architects and interior designers Min 15 years
◆ Retail, hospitality or restaurant design project management. Min 15 years
◆ Full cycle engagement of design management from initiating design concept to the site management. Min 10 years
◆ Presentation to large group Min 10 years
◆ Managing outside architectural, MEP and other design consultants Min 10 years

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
◆ Current knowledge of industry trends in hospitality, retail store and restaurant design
◆ Current working knowledge of local PRC Building and Health codes and all other local PRC compliance issues
◆ Possessed Revit/ACAD/Sketchup/3D visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles
◆ Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments
◆ Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues
◆ Ability to translate design principles / objectives into unique and varied store locations
◆ Knowledge of interior architectural details and specifications for construction document productions
◆ Excellent presentation skills and project management ability.
◆ Be fluent English and Mandarin will be plus.
