Objectives
The primary focus of this role is to execute the College's strategic marketing and communications plans, aimed at enriching the College community and driving the growth of families who align with our core College Values. This, in turn, contributes to achieving our established admissions targets.
The key responsibilities include raising awareness of the school's brand, generating both online and offline enquiries, providing support to admissions colleagues in the recruitment of new students, and fostering a strong sense of loyalty among parents, students, and staff. Upholding a professional image and conduct is a fundamental requirement, as is a steadfast commitment to exemplifying and adhering to the College Values: Work Hard, Aim High, Be Kind and Respectful, and Make a Difference.
Duties &
Responsibilities
• Content Creation: Create, format, and publish engaging content across the College's social media and 3rd party platforms.
• Website maintenance: creating and updating pages supporting SEO
• Drive Digital Campaigns: Contribute to effective digital marketing campaigns for the College.
• Liaise with the Media: Maintain positive relationships with key media outlets and collaborate with them to execute the College's media plan, ensuring timely publishing of articles, advertorials, and press releases.
• Support Market Research: Assist the Marketing and Communications Supervisor in conducting market research and analysis.
• Monitor and Report: Keep an eye on social activity, key marketing metrics, and media coverage, providing regular reports.
• Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, students, and parents.
• Event Support: Provide assistance during key school events and actively seek new event opportunities for students and staff.
• Brand Custodian: Ensure a consistent and fitting brand image for the College in all activities.
• Language Skills: Translate College communications and other content as needed.
• Foster College Unity: Adopt a holistic approach to create a cohesive and positive College environment.
• Additional tasks to support the college community may be required.
Requirement
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Able to translate and write copy in Chinese
• Ability to draft copy in English is preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Understanding of layout and typography
• Experience of managing and maintaining popular Chinese social media backend platforms
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is desirable
• Reliable, organised and proactive team player with a positive disposition
