Position Description:
The position need to focus on multimedia driver, framework and optimization in Linux, Android, QNX or other RTOS . The candidate should be familiar with one Audio solution from user’s perspective. The position requires the candidate working closely with SOC design, DSP firmware, platform design and product team to work out the solution from bare-metal, driver to application framework.
The engineer will be in Beijing/Shanghai/Wuhan in SiEngine’s R&D SW team.

Required Skills:
- 2+ years of software development in automotive, embedded system or mobile.
- Solid knowledge on ARM architectures and Linux kernel.
- Experience in embedded software, Linux driver development and application development. Linux ALSA driver experience is a must.
- Knowledge on audio/speech codecs such as: MP3, AAC, WMA, AC3, Dolby Digital, Auro 3D, DTS, FLAC, AMR(FR/HR).
- Experience in audio processing pipeline for media applications e.g. playback, capture, transcoding, streaming, voice call, analog audio codecs, software defined radio and etc.
- Experience in audio mixer for voice, media, BT, FMRadio and pre- and post-processing algorithms for quality enhancement - such as: EC/NS, EQ, ANC, ICC, AGC, SRC.
- Experience in interfaces and protocols as: I2S/TDM/SPDIF, PCM, I2C/SPI, A2B and etc.
- Hands-on experience in audio acoustic component integration and debug like microphone, headset, PA and loudspeakers.
- Experience in voice recognition (ASR, NLP and TTS and etc) is a plus.
- Experienced in multimedia frameworks such as OpenMAX, GStreamer or Stagefright is a big plus.
