Job Description (职位说明)

WEFLY is currently seeking multiple self-driven Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineers with modern guidance, navigation (GPS/Inertial/Visual/other), and control algorithms development and flight test experiences to shape the future of electric aviation. You will directly lead or participate in the entire life cycle of the next-generation eVTOL aircraft development programs, including but not limited to supporting/participation in aircraft level performance, load analysis, and control/stability analysis, control architecture trade study, inner loop stability design, tuning and analysis, outer-loop and auto flight guidance control performances, aircraft handling quality design and improvement, perception/feedback sensors sensitivity and sensors technology selection, observability estimation algorithm, high fidelity aircraft plant and vehicle management/control algorithm modeling, models auto-code, Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) and Pilot-in-the-Loop simulation and validations, flight test validation, analysis and tuning, and finally the auto Flight Systems certifications.

Minimal Qualifications (基本资质)
● Masters or other advanced degrees from top universities in one or more of the following disciplines: aerospace/aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics/math, control engineering, navigation, and other related disciplines. Bachelor degree will be considered if more than 3+ years of industrial experience or other extraordinary
● Demonstrable experiences in one or more of the following domains: control phase/gain margin analysis for large uncertainty and high disturbance, fine tuning of PID controller, LQR controller or other advanced controllers for optimal stability margin and control performance, differential thrust vector control development, complex observer development and tuning (with inertial, GPS, air data and other measurement/perception technology), trajectory/path guidance algorithms, 6DOF simulations and visualization, complex operation mode logic or state machine via working experiences or research experience or extracurricular activity
● Familiar with or even proficient in most control system design and development tools, such as mathematical and physical modeling tools, such as Simulink/Matlab or similar, data mining, plotting, and other analytical tools, or strong learning capabilities of any tools
● Self-starter, can-do attitude, team player, sense of responsibility, quick learner, and open mind
● High integrity, attention to detail, and safety critical thinking
● Sufficient English writing and reading capabilities.

● 熟悉甚至精通大多数控制系统设计和开发工具,如数学和物理建模工具,如Simulink/Matlab或类似工具,数据挖掘、绘图等分析工具,或超强任何工具的学习能力
● 做事有上进心、can-do精神、团队精神、责任心、快速学习、思想开放
● 人品正直、注重细节、有很强的安全批判性思维
● 能自如读写英文

Desired Qualifications (期望资质)
● PhD degrees from top universities in one or more of the following disciplines: aerospace/aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics/math, control engineering, navigation, and other related disciplines.
● 5+ years hands-on experiences of aircraft or other vehicle's controller stability and performance analysis, auto pilot control laws development, flight path optimizations, full state estimation fusion technique, high fidelity simulator design and implementations, electrical actuation/servo/motor system sizing, control and integrations, and etc.
● Expertise in one or more of the following analyses: aircraft physics modeling development, robust control theory and implementations, full state Kalman Filter estimation theory and implementations, Simulink and auto-code, system identification methods, and etc.
● Understand FAA/CAAC Part 25/23/27/29 aircraft certification regulations.

● 理解美国FAA或EASA或中国民航23、25、27、29部飞机适航标准要求
