The Search Asia team looks after and manages HP’s Search presence across Asia-Pacific. We are looking for an extraordinary performance marketer to help drive growth through the Baidu Paid Search channel. As a member of the Search Asia team, you’ll be responsible overseeing performance of campaigns of paid search campaigns across our Print and Supplies portfolio – including home, home office, commercial printing as well as our vast array of printing supplies.  

This is an excellent role for candidates that have 1-3 years of relevant Baidu experience and are excited about using their skills alongside a strong marketing team.

Are you our Baidu Paid Search Marketing Specialist in Beijing? This role offers you a chance to:

1. Build a best-in-class Baidu Search Engine Marketing (SEM) program through partnership with Category, Marketing, Analytics and Data Science teams.

2. Help HP create and maintain a coherent search presence across the learn, discover and buy journeys.

3. Ownership and monitoring of quarterly budgets and pacing to achieve Marketing goals and Return of Advertising Spend(ROAS) targets

4. Manage and improve campaign structure and targeting improvements, search query mining, keyword expansion, LP testing, and improvement of bid management processes

5. Own quarterly and annual forecast and planning for SEM

6. Own weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI’s.

7. Research and leverage SEM industry trends and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategy

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

1. Baidu certifications – tools, technology and landscape

2. Hands on experience managing large clients Baidu budgets and campaigns. Technology, Services, Travel industry experience preferred.

3. A Passion for Marketing. You stay up to date on the industry, bidding platforms and changes as they roll out.

4. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

5. 1-3 years of related Baidu performance marketing experience

6. A strong grasp of search marketing (both SEM and SEO) and metrics driven (performance) marketing

7. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.

8. High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

9. The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executive

Desired but not required knowledge or capabilities

1. Google / Naver/Bing/Yahoo experience

2. Lazada or Amazon Marketing Services (Sponsored Products, Headline search, Product display)

3. JD or T-mall experience
