The Reliability and Engineering Support team is in the Personal Systems Quality, System Management, and Cost organization. The RES Shanghai team is responsible for engineering support across HP’s portfolio of Personal Systems product through the delivery of competitive analysis, China Region support and driving strategic initiatives including commodity quality.

RES Shanghai team is seeking an exceptional candidate with strong technical, program management and communication skills to join our team as a Commodity Quality Program Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitors field performance via ARR (Annualized Return Rate) through HP’s warranty management system.

2. Utilizes domain expertise in PC architecture to manage field quality issues related to processors and power supplies.

3. Drives closed loop prevention on field quality issues to improve future product performance

4. Provides regular reporting of field quality performance and issue status using Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Education and Experience Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, IT, computer science or other technical field of study.

2. Experience in PC architecture

3. Typically 3+ years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Familiarity with PC processors and power supplies preferred

2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

3. Experience is driving conclusions through data analysis tools such as Excel and JMP

4. Practices good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information.

5. Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment.

6. Self-starter with excellent time management skills.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
