Description:
The Media Tech and Data Lead played a critical role in our Digital Marketing Transformation under media team in China. S/He will support Performance Marketing team on digital innovation and advanced media operations to empower and extend the team’s capabilities to gain more effectiveness from media plan down to campaign execution cross eCommerce and Search channels. S/He will be the thought partner to business leadership team and expert for media data and technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Closely collaborate with and support Performance Marketing Lead and Local Marketing team to achieve business objectives and marketing goals by using media publisher data platform.
2. Develop and cultivate thought leadership with performance marketing team and the wider organization teams to explore and share new system, technologies and data governance.
3. Improve marketing activity effectiveness thru advanced analysis and data models with BATJ data platform to identify new business growth opportunity.
4. Improve team efficiency thru data, processing and reporting automation by using visualization BI tools and new technology.
5. Design performance marketing framework and digital transformation roadmap for performance team with actionable marketing programs, technologies and data readiness thru media partnerships and China digital ecosystem.
6. Support planning, execution and optimization of performance marketing programs against both business and marketing communication objectives.
7. Design measurement frame work and create insightful automated dashboards and data.
8. Support team to prepare executive presentation for business review; translate data to actionable optimization solutions.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience as marketing science, data engineering and advanced analytics experiences with JZT, GDT, JD Data Mill, JD 商智, Alibaba Data Bank, Tencent Data Cloud, Baidu Ads platform is preferred; Master with 9N and Data Factory is mandatory.
2. Expert with BATJ, including but not limited data policy, audience profile, taxonomy definition and operation platform.
3. MS/PHD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience.
4. In-depth hands-on experience with BI, database and Analytics tools, e.g. R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, SQL, etc.
5. Extensive hands on experience on model design, e.g. regression model on analysis and prediction, RFM, cluster analysis, etc.
6. Understand business and marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
7. Previously worked as data related functions at Alibaba or JD is highly preferred.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including conducting executive level presentations.
9. Being an innovator and disruptor; always keep self-motivated, creative and collaborative.
