About the role:
The HP in-house media team is responsible for planning, buying and maintain integrated ad campaigns in multipleeCommerce Platform and SEM platforms (e.g. JZT, Alibaba, Baidu, etc.). The Performance Marketing Lead role is responsible for the team’s overall effectiveness, with the individual leveraging their expertise in managing the operations for digital media reporting and analysis to ensure HP’s advertising objectives are met while maintaining a balance of performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of in-house Performance media buying efforts ensuring strategic and tactical excellence as well as operational rigor.
2. Guide the development of this new team, including the establishment of best practices, definition of roles and responsibilities, and then ensure adherence to that guidance.
3. Hire, train, and cultivate the team of 10+ eCommerce and search practitioners.
4. Serve as a motivational leader, leading by example and nurturing talent.
5. Build ties with Marketing stakeholders, effectively advocating for the capability’s value at the CMO-level.
6. Streamline workflow with out of box thinking to create the space for agile marketing.
7. Develop and cultivate thought leadership within the team (including local marketing, finance, operations, procurement, legal and outside agencies and media publishers_, and through partnership with the wider Marketing organization.
Qualifications:
1. Approximately 10+ years of experience in a media agency, eCommerce company, or advertiser company. minimum 5 year of media buying experience including self-service RTB/ Integrated media planning experience. with people management experience .
2. Practical knowledgewith hands on experience of JD and Alibaba RTB platform (including but not limited to JZT, BlackDragon, .
3. Strong partnership with B (Baidu+ByteDance) ATJ on building strategic alliance cross their ecosystem
4. Strong knowledge of digital advertising workflow, measurement, optimization, testing methods and finance process.
5. B2B experience a plus and familiar with data activation methodology and process thru DMP/CDP
6. Data Acumen and familiar with 3rd party platform (e.g. JD商智, JD Data Mill, 9N, Databank, etc.) to drive data insight and translate to actionable business insights.
7. Excellent written and verbal written communication skills including conducting executive level presentations.
8. Demonstrated leadership and ability to inspire collaboration and teamwork.
9. Previous experience working with large brands/budgets and managing projects of scale is a must.
10. Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail and cross-team coordination.
11. Proficiency in database and data visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
12. Bachelor in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Management, Advertising, or Computer Science. MBA is preferred.
13. Proven records from a similar experience in IT or FMCG is highly preferred.
14. Won JD/ Alibaba Platform certificate is a plus.
