Role:
1. The Anti-Counterfeit (ACF) North Asia Sub-Regional Investigations Manager reports to the APJ Regional Investigations Manager.
2. The main function of the role is to manage and supervise anti-counterfeit investigations which are conducted by external investigation service providers.
3. Responsibilities include the management and oversight of printing supplies and hardware anti-counterfeit investigations, proactive investigation case management, to include the development and implementation of innovative approaches and investigative strategies to meet client business needs.
4. The role requires liaison and support to HP business units and other pillars of Brand Protection to ensure the anti-counterfeit program is considered an effective business tool.
Responsibilities:
1. Delivers tactical anti-counterfeit investigation management to contracted investigation service providers in accordance with HP investigation guidelines and China law
2. Manages and supervises anti-counterfeit investigations conducted by contracted investigation service providers within China
3. Provides support as directed in areas of anti-counterfeit and brand protection investigations
4. Maintains case management reporting database and measures
5. Manages budgets and investigation service providers under supervision of region or program leadership
6. Maintains liaison with government, industry, and intelligence professionals
7. Maintains data and utilizes performance intelligence to assess program ROI, calibrate direction and demonstrate value to clients
8. Liaison with HP internal business colleagues and stakeholderS
Education And Experience Required:
1. University degree in Law, Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
2. Typically, 5+ years security experience, including a mix of law enforcement, military, intelligence and/or corporate experience
3. Familiarity with anti-corruption strategies, including US Foreign Corrupt Practice Act and UK Bribery Act
4. Corporate experience and budget management is desirable
5. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is essential
