Applies extensive knowledge the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways. Comprehensive understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions. Work is completed with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures. May determine methods and procedures for new assignments. Typically provides guidance to other non- exempt employees.
Responsibilities:
1. Receives customer request calls and takes the opportunity to sell products, services, and supplies to installed base.
2. Addresses complex customer requests via multi-product/service solutions, typically integrated solutions and directs or coordinates supporting activities.
3. Provides input to Sales Rep. regarding emerging market trends and opportunities.
4. Trains/coaches and leads other Inside Inbound Sales Reps.
Education and Experience Required:
1. Two year university/ Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
2. Typically 6-8 years experience in a inside sales role .
3. Additional, specialized knowledge-breadth/depth.
4. Expert in discipline offerings; technical ability to develop a total sales engagement.
5. Multiple years over quota performance with progressively more difficult assignments.
6. Viewed as an expert in company; sought out by other sales reps and/or managers for input.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Mature in market knowledge and trends.
2. Uses HP's sales tools and processes in the sales cycle.
3. Solid telesales skills for prospective opportunities.
4. Complex negotiation and selling skills with multiple products and service solutions.
5. Project management skills in directing or coordinating selling sales support activities on complex sales.
6. Consistently demonstrates proactive activities within accounts to uncover new business and take ownership for new opportunities.
7. Consistently meets or exceeds metrics related to inbound calls set by segment management.
8. Understands the client procurement processes and knows key decision criteria for winning new andor maintaining existing business.
9. Ability to coach, and lead other Inside Inbound Sales Reps.
